BVO 244 Polarizer

Sometimes you just need throughput. BVO 244 is the highest transmittance visible linear polarizer available (plastic dichroic type). However, there is a trade-off with loss of contrast ratio. Our Solq and Lyot filter customers desire high transmission due to multi-stage design. Projection systems and HUDs also require clean up polarizers which do not depend on high extinction.

Very High Transmission Visible Dichroic Linear Polarizer

  • Active Range: 400nm – 700nm
  • Extremely high transmission
  • Type – transmissive, absorptive
  • Lower contrast
  • Low absorption
  • Large sizes available

Applications

  • Multi Stage Filters
  • Projection System Clean-Up Polarizer
  • HUD’s – Heads Up Display
