BVO 38 Polarizer

BVO 38 linear polarizer is the solution to outdated optical drawings calling for the old Polaroid / 3M HN 38 visible polarizer. Legacy can be important as to not repeat re-qualification in optical systems. Some applications do call for a lower transmission polarizer, BVO 38 meets the challenge.

Visible Dichroic Linear Polarizer

  • Active Range: 420nm – 750nm
  • 38% nominal transmission
  • Type – transmissive, absorptive
  • Legacy polarizer – replacement for deprecated optical drawings
  • Covers 750nm LED’s
  • Extended visible wavelength range
  • BBAR coated BK-7 components available
  • Polarizer film available with or without PSA
  • Replaces 3M polarizer – HN 38

Applications

  • Support Outdated Drawing Specifications
  • Photography
  • Glare Reduction
  • Optical Signal Processing Instruments
  • Sensors
